What is it about the 4 day Festival ? It gets me every time .
Am mentally shattered- feel like I have run a 26 mile marathon .
It must be a combination of intense anticipation coupled with the reality of what actually happens each day . And each day the experience builds up on top of each other .
No other meeting does this .
Aintree , Ascot ,Epsom etc - these meetings are tame by comparison.
Are others in the same state as me - whacked out ?
And wondering why I didnt WIN A FORTUNE this time .
So many "certainties " won and looking back over the results of the four days you wouldnt think there was a losing punter to be found anywhere ( if they were backing)
Many LAYERS must have had an absolute nightmare ?

The C4 production is on par with a sleazy Big Brother.. Too many Lesbians Homosexuals Bisexuals (Transgenders?) and Non Whites as a proportion of viewers.. May put in a complaint to the regulator as they cannot have it both ways... |
