Worse than pathetic, it is embarrassing. Hope it loses so he is finally exposed as the fraud he is. Like big fat mac when he said zenyatta couldn't beat the boys.

Remember if the evens favourite wins it will be all down to Chapman. If it loses it will be all down to the ground.

This is cheltenham mate, unless you are Istabraq no one smashes the field

Whats the best horse that Faugheen has beat?
By:

When: 08 Mar 15 14:33
What's the best horse the new one has beat,or for that matter what was the best horse istabraq beat? It's stalemate theatreworld !

Istabraq smashed the field repeatedly at Cheltenham pal. That is good enough for me. Until I see another do that then I will remain cynical.

What can faugheen do,it's time in the Neptune was 21 seconds faster than the new one,has smashed blue heron who hammered Irving next time out,it had ruby patting its back for the last furlong when hammering everything at punchestown !

You get complacent then you will get caught out. He will be up against horses that have done it before on the biggest stage. Timings mean **** all up that hill mate. Heard it and seen it so many times before

The New One has beaten supposed monster Pont Alexandre, former Champion hurdle winner Rock On Ruby , Zarkandar, My Tent Or Yoursand dual champion Hurricane Fly .

Faugheen has beaten Purple Bay, Blue Fashion, Valseur Lido, Ballyalton and The Job Is Right.

cufcno1. If your looking @ times hes taking on the fastest champion hurdler of the last 20 years in Jezki.

Geoff, like just about everyone on here knows, Faugheen could easily win the Champion Hurdle but when you get fools like Chapman saying he is a cert it is beyond belief. I noticed how later on the Sunday forum he said how he thought Briar Hill was a cert last year, wonder if was as big a cert as Faugheen is for this week.
By:

When: 08 Mar 15 14:56
Rock on ruby was never going to beat it,zarkandar is an absolute monkey,it's beat hurricane fly who never ran it's race last year,Pont Alexandre done 3 laps of Cheltenham on the morning,we will see on Tuesday, someone agrees though, its 5-4 fav

Good Luck , may the best horse win. Just hope here is no unlucky horse like last year and more importantly no Our Conor moment,

Fair enough fidway, just think last year's form don't stack up to much, mtoy stuffed at ayr,tno scraping home at Aintree, and articfire who was 2nd in the county running right beside hurricane fly and jezki, btw, jezki paid for my week last year, can't see it getting within 2 lengths of faugheen !

I think Faugheen is the best we have seen in a long time. More than happy with 5/4 about him proving a cut above those who ran in this race last year.

For some reason i have never taken to Jezki.....Confused

I think he's very good and I do think he will reverse the form against Hurricane Fly on Tuesday. That said, I think you make a case for saying that both the second and the third in last year's race might have been him in other circumstances. He has never produced a breathtakingly impressive display whereas Faugheen has on several occasions.

See you then did it 3 years in a row in the champion hurdle... without a  run in between if I remember correctly

oh dear Blush

last year a new timing system was employed resulting in all times being quicker Wink

See You Then did have one run before his last CH.

Istabraq was beating rubbish in his 3 wins, hardly a vintage era bar him.

Very easy to see that Chapman was just winding up those two this morning.

When looking at bankers I'd 100% rather back Faugheen than Un De Sceaux.
By:

When: 08 Mar 15 18:40
Chapman in the paper yesterday saying how he was praying Faugheen would win seeing as he's 'stuck his neck out' regarding the horse. Ffs you'd swear it was a 20/1 shot.

i remember chapman coming out with the comment..."well he wont be winning a golp cup" after a certain horse had been well beaten in ireland in december

a few weeks later war of attrition proved him WRONG Happy

refreshing for somebody to come out and put his opinion on the line. Can't see why he should be called pathetic for airing his opinion.
By:

When: 08 Mar 15 19:42
He has put nothing on the line, unlike ruby who has staked his reputation on this really. Chapman just jumping on the bandwagon with faugheen, it is hardly a groundbreaking opinion.

Because as I've said in an earlier post knowing Chapman he'll actually believe the horse winning will be partly due to him. He'll actually believe that.

no one knows how good faugheen is..........its a pure guess.........he has to improve on what he has done so far but thats not impossible ......is he an evens shot ...probably not.......can he win...yes........but betting horses with question marks like him will put you in the work house long term.....personally i am not betting in the race but i am doing a placepot.......i will probably put jezki and the new one.........think i will be very unlucky not to get a place
