Ruby Watch....

it's 1000 now

Many thanks Mr Walsh :)

Nice to see you make an effort at the end to close the gap but YOU already lost the race - well done...

Laying walsh is FREE MONEY :)

i dont get why he dropped him out so far.

poor that
im a ruby fan
but that was never put in race......

needs 2 1/2 miles.

really...
not sure about that....

The best horse came turd.

Must have been watching a different race...BC was niggled a fair way out after loosing a few lengths at the 1st when Russell juped right across it...always on the back foot after that

I agree with Rewired

or put in the race at 2 miles,

i dont think it needs further. it just needs to be positively ridden

imagine if that was std riding, the place would be in uproar

Ashleigh......... ur comment is too easy........... track the leader and he wins. He led over 2miles before why not ride close today.???????

If you watch most of his races, if he keeps the horse towards the rear regardless of price it usually always loses, if he is more prominent then he is at least trying to win the race

They didn't want that race, third finish will mean handicap mark now.

Shame he was in a position to be baulked at the first.

Laying walsh is FREE MONEY  all depends what price your laying em @ and wether prerace or in running.

come  on koi their tactics were plain to see from the off , the clash at the 1st made no difference.

urano yesterday was stepping back from 3 miles to 2 m 4 and ruby made the running

clash made little difference to race
very slight and early on
just got caught with his pants down i think
it happens....

Carrot, it was niggled a fair way out, re-watch the race... never travelling comfortably imo

I know whats need get ruby walsh on after the race and ask him what the hell he was playing at

aberdonia

Look back at some of his rides in the past few weeks where he was expected to win, see how awful the rides are, absolutely no interest in winning

It's not gonna be a graded horse and if it went off in front and won by 12 lengths it would have been given a mark of 140+.

Rich Ricci has enough graded horses so getting one a handicap mark of 130+ makes perfect sense for Cheltenham as they can target another race with it.

No point complaining about his riding style now. If you've not got it by now you never will. And we know his general views towards punters. The man gives the impression of thinking he'd get paid fortunes by his "owners" to ride without any money being wagered by the same people he shows ignorance/contempt towards...

Ok Mr Walsh, next up

1:30 - Killer Crow

Big price at 22

This is not expected to win!!!

I wouldn't lay this simply because of price, 22 is too high to lay and as its irish racing anything can happen, lets see what he does with this one....

I agree,re the handicap mark.

they all do that though.

obviously, of little consolation if you backed it, but it was a lay at the price

its certainly a lay now
but i think it had a faves chance

you can say that after every even money shot gets beat........
after the race......

As expected it came nowhere........

The outsider of mullins wins lol

How often does that happen? lol

look at the ride tell us more got and look at the ruby ride

some strange results......

ruby had to niggle his mount along just after they went out on the 2nd circuit because he was way out of his ground , he was upside the winner 3 out and dropped back niggled again after the turn in sat up on the run to and jumping the last  last then asked for an all out effort and closed all the way to the line. p1ss taking again from the mullins ,ricci walsh combination.mind you townsend was as bad pulling up mckinley (GONE LAME) 9 DAYS AGO

2:00 Sir Harry Cash

Ok, Ruby has already won twice on this horse, tactics were too keep it at the rear though over much longer distance

Will lay at first and see what happens

Layed at 4.6

Always had my suspicions about Mullins putting punters away. Confirmed that during this season. Pretends to be ultra pessimistic but is just spoofing.

yeehhhaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Once again mr walsh obliges....

Much shorter race so why on earth stay so far back, needed to be much closer with the pace, did travel well and jumped better but was never going to win...

Cheers Ruby, my balance is groing thanks to you :)

Ruby appears to be a laying cash machine for you at the moment!

hfink

You better believe it :)

Even when he does win the price often jumps up IR so you can always play a cover every now and again...

This is like finding gold - he never lets you down :)

Wish my balance was groing  MARKO

lol

Ah, he has no ride in the 2:30 - shame that!!!

Not in the 2.30? They've probably sacked him!

No more rides for Ruby today....

3/3 beat

Congratulations kind sir :)

R. Walsh, rider of Blood Cotil (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was impeded on the landing side of the first fence which resulted in his mount losing ground and being further off the pace than intended.........

What a load of b0llocks

TRAINER    OVERALL IRISH JUMPS            PROFIT/LOSS
W P Mullins    265-785    34%    -121.09    188-532    35%    -82.21

That pretty much sums it up........

Considering most of these are short priced favourites

That is fukking ridiculous
The horse who impeded him had no issue being put back into the race by his rider.

Scum

Does that mean that Chapman wastalking bollocks as usual when he said the horse was being settled hence him being so far back?

atr,s reasoning for been around is for phone calls to mullins, weld, meade etc,
anyone dropping the gravey boat by questioning the motives of these people will be getting their p45,s

Ruby has a big nappy bill at the moment so you can expect a good few shorties to be beaten over the next few weeks

Horse never travelled at any stage during the race and was always on the back foot.

Marko joins the never ending list of attention seeking morons.
His 2.08 post is Comedy Gold

I will add that Blood Cotil was "not off a yard".
However,Laying Ruby horses that are "dropped out"is most definitely not the pathway to eternal riches as the Liquidity over there allows nobody other than a £50 punter to "trade".

Considering that was so blatant and the stewards even dared to question him about it I assume they will do the necessary and ban the horse from running for a few months

racingstar

You are sadly part of the ever growing list of numpties that contribute absolutely nothing

Every single post of yours is comedy gold, you must lead a sad little life when all you do is criticise and poke at people. well done you.

Just shows what a complete ill informed immature **** you are, would I be right in thinking you would be best described as horseburgers gimp!!

Racingstar

Your comment:

The above comment is horsesh1t, a good example of someone who makes an ill informed comment based on what????????? Your juvenile sense of humour perhaps????

If you were to actually take the time to look into this, you would find that Ruby operates at big losses and I can assure that the the majority of his winners are when he rides more prominently....

As for £50 punter to trade, I do believe in first race there were 1000,s to trade with on the favourite which further undermines your ridiculous statement..

marko......racingstar is old shrewdie

cardifffc

From what I've seen on here, old shrewdie racingstar enjoys a bit of banter :)

he s never wrong.........well thats what he keeps telling us

Marko,
You are a two bob punter who thinks(in common with most) that you actually know more than you do.
I bet there In Running every day (at 2% Commission on here).
Do you?

racingstar

As you will probably know, people who brag about things which you have just done do so in order to compensate for something else that is severely lacking, as to what that may be can be left to others imagination.....

I'm 41 and retired, have been for 3 years so perhaps that may well eliminate the idea of the 'two bob punter' I bet as a hobby rather than a way to feed a gambling addiction or a way to make a living.

I realise I'm way out of my depth even attempting to mingle with an imaginary 2% shrewdie but please allow for my naivety on this subject...

Marko,
What do you keep in your Bf account?

Not much friend since I'm a two bob punter :)

How much do you keep in your bank account?

Don't be shy,Marko.
You have made  a statement about my funds being imaginary.
I am happy to prove my funding.

I'm not usually shy but I'm lets say in awe of such greatness.....

If you are a 2% kid then bloody well done....

There is no need to prove anything, does it really matter, all that really matters is that mr walsh et al are blatantly fleecing punters off their money.

I'm here to help my fellow two bob punters make a few bob :)

I most certainly am,Marko. Not that being on 2% guarantees profitability as HF proved.

Walsh is without doubt one of the best jump jockeys we have ever seen.
At the big meetings and festivals he gives 100 percent, and is a joy to watch.
But at the ordinary run of the mill meetings some of his rides are questionable
to say the least. As for his ride today on Blood Cotil, I don't think he did
much wrong, the incident at the first didn't help and the horse just never
seemed comfortable after that. and yes I bet him.

Indeed! Its not a easy game, that explains why bookies are making millions in profits!!

You need to be a right "shrewdie" to make a living or even show a profit, having said that, if you bet wisely then it can be done, most punters lack discipline and looking for get rich quick options, I was in a betting shop the other day and saw a chap jumping around distressed as he just blew his load on a dodgy favourite, that was the rent money gone ouch, the missus wont be given him the lip service he was hoping for :)

Mullins came on well before the race and said,"the priority is to settle the horse".
The Market thought it would not win and was correct.
The Market is also often wrong.
You pay your money and take your chance, imo.

Can't disagree with that

Interference at the first fence was a poor excuse for the inept ride on the fav, these guys OWN the officials, they are free to do as they wish, the only loser here is the punter, to turn it round, dont back em but lay em.....

Bluethroughanthrough

Fair point, he is better at the bigger meetings but then they should be, thats like the cup finals so yes they want to win or at least they will try, as a punter I dont mind losing if the horse/team is at least trying......

The one bet I will never forget was a tennis match a few years back between kiefer/melzer, at the time kiefer owned melzer and in the first set kiefer was apparently struggling, no sign of injury but decided to complete the first set and lose it 6-0, no effort whatsoever and even on the last point, it wasn't finihsed and he just walked off court lol  This was so blatant yet nothing got done, he was wise enough to complete a set though lol  Its almost like a footie team kicking the ball into their own net....

everything is geared for cheltenham and nothing else, of his last 17 runners in the uk only faugheen has won twice the other 16 runners disapointing some very disapointing

Koikeeper is one of the best judges on here,he has read the race perfectly as has Bluethroughandthrough.

I'm a huge Ruby fan and will defend him to the hilt if I think someone is talking through their pocket.

As far as Blood Cotil goes the stewards should be taken out and shot at dawn.I had a small bet on the horse but not enough to be up in arms about or slag a jockey who doesn't deserve it.

Whether it was the plan to stop the horse or not is hard to say but Ruby made up his mind before the 2nd last he was not going to try and win on the horse.

Maybe he simply didn't want to subject him to a hard race after his early mistake and decided not to get involved in a battle to the line who knows?

One things for sure he did not ride the horse to gain the best possible position and it was a blatant breach of the rules.

If that had been The Arkle at Cheltenham he'd have been after him before the 2nd last to get into a possible challenging position but Ruby sat there and did virtually nothing to encourage the horse until the race was all but over.

I know the Stewards in Ireland can't possibly pull up every non trier....They'd need a 100 staff just to handle the horses who run out the back door in novice hurdles every day but in a case like this whether it be an apprentice or the man of the moment on board they really should get their act together.

Fan or no fan I have to hold up my hands and admit Ruby deserved a ban for that ride.

Above poster is correct

also the way it picked up at the last was ridiculous

It should of won and was full of running had Ruby put it in the race

Nice to see the idiots have somewhere to vent.

Ruby is the best jock to ever throw a leg over a horse and a man of the utmost integrity - to those of you suggesting/implying/stating that he is deliberately riding horses to get beat because of betting interests  - I hope he contacts Betfair ,obtains your names and addresses and sues you for all the measly pennies that you have.

listen.....
in this instance he may have done nothing wrong deliberately....
but certainly questions need to be asked.....was it ridden for its best placing in race....
but unfortunately racing is not as straight as an arrow
that’s why people have been banned and fined
wake up don’t be so naive............................................

The 12.55 at Thurles says it all.
1.5 to 3.5.
Rancid to the core.

agree.......................

and just like mullins the untouchables wont even be asked a question

Buffoons.

Better bait needed,Ekspammo

I know Ruby and he is an honourable man of the utmost integrity

he may well be.
But like all jocks he doesnt ride every horse to obtain the best possible position.

The man is either fishing or an utter moron

You'll be right racers - you're type always are.

Good afternoon.

"your type"

Ekbalco, a jockey suing punters? lulz I'd love to see that. Of course it will never even be thought of since none of them would want to highlight and draw more attention to what a mass of them are up to. They know they're on an easy wicket and are pretty much untouchable so why bother worrying about some criticism that comes their way on a few racing forums? Which, btw, they or anybody else sticking up for their shady rides will tell with a certain confidence: it's only "angry punters" that are hurling insults because they "lost their wager"...

Are the punters asking too much that they see every horse in a every race be ridden with honesty? sadly the overwhelming evidence emphatically answers yes. There's no need to single out Walsh. The whole industry is awash in murky, murky waters.

were you in kielys last week with him having a drink,

Some shocking efforts for his old man last couple of seasons. Of course anyone who didn't know already have now Sussex out the old man after Foxrock.
