If I owned the horse it would be taken away from the present trainer who has been incompetent imo.

whens it go koi

Not interested in that..its history..anyway, why take it away from a trainer that knows the horse inside out.
It Would have got the penalty anyway, but won with the proverbial in hand, the penalty wont stop it tomorrow.. |

What i don't understand is how it can be upped in weights when the race was void on his part.Either he keeps the race and weights go up or he is disqualified and remains on same mark. Its unfair to raise him and disq him at same time.

Do you think the horse will win tomorrow MadVlad ?
|

Like I said, the horse would have got the penalty anyway... taking the horse to another trainer is a bit extreme because of an oversite...if the BHA had done their job the horse would not have been allowed to run.. happens regularly with hunters with the amount of prize money they have won in rules races... ie too much to qualify for a hunter...the bha seem to find those.
Its just one of those things,, Mulholland will want to put things right tomorrow.. |

Alrite if your a eccentric owner who money is no object I suppose.

Jesus, you are like a dog with a bone...
All I am interested in as a punter is the race tomorrow.... do I think it will win with the penalty...Yes... |
|
By:
effectively this horse has been clobbered twice.
Ran in a race it couldn't win and gone up 14lbs in the ratings.Surely this should still be running off 130? |

Is this a 'without Houblon Des Obeaux' market?

ps if I was the owner I would think it was a shoe in for tomorrow if it had not picked up a penalty with no financial reward !

I started the thread with a question about wether the horse would win tomorrow... thats all
Did not want to get into an argument about what happened last time.. |

Can't back him at that price in such a competitive race. Merry Xmas. |
|
By:
TBF saxon, it was a very competitive race last time and it routed them, another step up the ladder here, but I think it will take it in its stride..
Having followed the horse, maybe I am a bit biased, but it does look to be the improver in this line up.... |

like koi ive been a huge fan of this horse for a long while ive had some of my biggest bets on it and some of my biggest wins .i have friends who have connection with the stable and they are going to the races today.as yet i havnt spoken to them but its likely i shall later .Before we speak i must say the horse winning last time was to my uneducated eyes and im not taking into account weight or any other factor the most impressive winner of the year . Of course my bet on it coloured my view . The bit about not being qualified is to me totally irrelavent it won me a substntial amount of cash ,of course if i had punted the second i might feel slighty different .... i have backed it already and if i get a positive word later i can assure y i shall again ... if i dont i might lay off some of my present bet ,,, but i think its a decent animal
|
|
By:
koi........wouldnt be laying it but i think it needs to improve which is not impossible
|
|
By:
koi.........it would be a boring game if we all agreed.....one of us will be right......one other thing would worry me is his hurdles form.........he wasnt very good
|
|
By:
Hurdles and fences are totally different, i have seen many a horse improve no end for a fence, this looks another.
Agree its all about opinions, a race to look forward to. |
|
By:
yes i agree there about hurdles and fences......i do like BG as a jockey though.......what do you think of the bottom horse koi........he looks a monkey
|
|
By:
I think Polisky needs holding up, maybe as late as they can... seems to put the brakes on more often than not, couldnt back it with stolen money.
