Very true wully
What is the use of it , it serves no purpose WHATSOEVER !!! |
|
By:
oor wullie that is so true. Just have to try and get what you can on before he puts his tips up.
|
|
By:
The purpose is to give free, easy, big-priced winners. He achieves his objective with aplomb.
|
|
By:
Thats a task in itself sir epicure , i cant get two bob on at 9.30am and the liquidity on here in all but the big meetings is non existent.

some moan and cry - others smash into the big prices
Yet more proof of what a coco you are. You actually think people on here believe you can back one of his tips for anything other than pennies at advised prices. The advised prices are not available, something Hugh has admitted to himself |

Don't make a good story tho trod why be part of his warped fantasy

Should also say that whatever me or anyone else says about the unobtainable prices, he is without a doubt as good a judge as i have come across at this game. That winner earlier was a strange one though.

Prices are a dream, but wouldn't want Hugh in my betting shop if I still had one

By:
I guess you may be right ghost , its one thing to be tipping on atr and another to back enough winners to live. Pressure makes you make odd choices from time to time.

oor wullie 04 Dec 14 18:33
Thats a task in itself sir epicure , i cant get two bob on at 9.30am and the liquidity on here in all but the big meetings is non existent. Do you always wait until the day of the race to have a bet ? The form etc. is all there the day before ( at worse), so if you pick one out,why not back BOG the previous evening ? |

oor wullie
04 Dec 14 18:07 His column is now just a joke ,marking bookmakers cards without anyone at all having a chance to get a bet, he seems like a genuine enough guy without a trace of ego about him but its now becoming stupid. I have been full time as a pro ganbler since 1994 and since Hugh started his column he has cost me fortunes because when he tips one up in the morning that i fancy, the price becomes unbackable. If he was putting his own money up then i would take it on the chin when one shortens, but the reality is no one is getting on at these early prices I'm afraid i believe wullie is correct...just a charade now from which the only people to benefit are the bookies and Hugh himself, as he's presumably on a decent wage...he's said he'll never go the tipping line route, so i guess we're stuck with him marking the bookies cards to the detriment of punters...given that no-one can get on, is there a need for the tips to go on @ 9.30am-10.30am? if they went up at 12, like Pr!cew!se Extra, it would at least give punters a couple of hours to go at the morning prices (it would make his task harder but we've already established no-one's getting on so that's all a bit irrelevant in reality) |
|

Oh if it was that simple facts, what do you think you can get on in a 0-60 handicap at wolverhampton 24 hours before the race? You would get the price of a fish supper on, then they would shorten it for good measure. |
|
By:
all well and good if a) you havent had your account closed with bookmaker in question, and b) you have nothing else to do than sit and watch internet for an hour each morning...that's possible if a) you lose overall, and b) you have no life...which means, if i have done my calculations correctly, that those that get on (windsor_boy self-cert)= no-life losers...Eureka!
|
|
By:
If a tipster is anygood or influences the market, bookmakers cut as quick as possible and savagely. Makes it fairly pointless

Pricewise Extra have been putting their tips up at 10:00 for quite some time, Duncan. Otherwise, I agree with the sentiment about putting them up later. |
