Have just entered the 'Lucky 7 to follow' pool on www.stakesandladders.com and noticed it has a guaranteed prize pool of £1k , only 100 or so entrants at present and starts on Friday so there is sure to be a huge overlay.
Only £1 to enter and the best bit is if you aren't already registered on the site they give you a free £5 welcome bonus, which you can use on this Lucky 7 (if you wish).
I have played this site quite a lot and it is a good concept and a different way of betting.
There is already a thread on the betting forum about this site as we have a private betfair forum premier league pool running if anyone fancies it.
Pause Switch to Standard View 'Lucky 7 to follow' racing game. £1k...

How many entries you having Pilky ? Looks like it's only filled about 10% of the guarantee so far and closes Friday. Fill your boots !
Report SirDan November 12, 2014 11:30 PM GMT
Less than 20% towards making the guarantee , great value. Especially as you get a free fiver just for signing up.

got to be worth 20 entries! does anyone know how much of the £1,000 is 1st prize?

whenever i find a competition with a massive overlay, i always tell as many people about it as possible, thus reducing my own chances of winning...

I think its top 5 paid with 1st prize of £500 plus monthly prizes. As for the overlay, I'm not too bothered about it, personally i'd rather there wasn't one thus increasing the prize pool that i'm going to win, easy money either way.

Just putting the finishing touches to my selections. I saw an advert for it on the Racing Post website today, presumably it was in the paper version too. I expect new sign ups will use their free £5 to enter this a few times as well.

Only made about 50% of its guarantee, so plenty of value all round and judging by a few of the usernames some of the knockers on here did indeed join in too, they couldn't resist the value after all  ! Good luck everyone.
