Can I nominate Hughes on Producer as another entry ??

No bet in that race,but Hughes has to be one of the most annoying jocks

Don't know if you can blame Hughes, but Producer was unlikely to win from that far back.

The thing with R.Hughes is you have to catch him on a going day.
I sometimes get the distinct impression from his body language, positioning during a race that he is not particularly bothered on the day and merely going through the motions.
Whether this is down to fatigue or arrogance that is for each person to decide. I do agree with you however that he can be quite frustrating.  Pretty much a chalk and cheese jockey.  He can be sublime in one race and be pretty awful in the following race.

Hughes is too smug to bother with.

Have to agree that sometimes he appears to want to win bang on the line just to satisfy his own ego/reputation rather than getting the job done.

Ryan Moore on fav in previous race at Sandown doesn't exactly qualify for the ride of the week. In last place for ages then finished like a train when the race had gone beyond recall.

Missed Producer ride but the ride in the first,was poor to say the least,but,as we all know if he cant win he will not ride them out even for a place.

Moore & Hughes are overrated.

Hanagan is the best jockey in England.
