Just what does Rhys Flint weigh at the moment? He's had some fairly well publicised weight issues that would suggest that he isn't currently going to be at his "fighting weight". Perhaps the BHA should send someone round with the scales?
This afternoon's coup would appear to be well planned but as with the Gay Future coup there's always a weak link.
If Flint was declared as the rider despite a lack of fitness and a potentially significant amount of overweight could it not be feasibly argued that the horse was never going to run? Naturally we all suspect that this was the case all along but if the intent could be proven then we are into a whole different ball game.
I'm sure the powers that be are leaping into action as I type.

As flagged up by Delta on the other thread, Rhys Flint's comments on Twitter on 27th August re '11 st wishfulthinking'  are very interesting........

as is this from the Post

That option remains open for Flint who is delighted to be back riding.

"When I didn't renew my licence my weight went up to 12st 2lb straight away," said Flint who rides Rowlestone Lad for his father at Taunton.

"I was riding out everyday though and eating a healthy three meals a day and my weight soon settled at 11st 7lb.
