Backed Es Que Love for the Lennox Stakes with SJ at 33/1, placed the bet on Sunday. It was non runner no bet but no mention of rule 4 etc. They've taken 25p in the pound out of my winnings. When I've placed bets with other bookmakers when it's been non runner no bet it has been stated that rule 4 may apply and I'm sure that when I've placed bets on cheltenham NRNB there haven't been deductions for non runners. Just checking what they've done is okay?

IMO if you've ever been given NRNB without R4 applying it's a giveaway promotion by a bookie, and one that could be shockingly expensive for them if the wrong horses come out.

chelts most likely ballotted out horses rather than non runners?

Might be a difference as to whether you put it on Sunday morning (ante-post) or after the Sunday 48-hour declarations.

^ joe39 correct.

What time did you place the bet?

Cheers for the responses - put it on early afternoon on Sunday so after the 48 hour decs. It was just that with other places stating that rule 4 would apply when I've placed a bet I was expecting to see the same here if they were going to apply it.
