Dont be embarrassed, although you should be, anyone that knows this horse, knows it has to go left handed, yes it won at chelt but watch the race, in fact watch them all including  the 2 points it won..... it lost any amount of ground at chelt yet still managed to win despite that.



As for tipping favs in hunters.... there are no prices when I do the write ups , not even on betfair...& the RP etc havent a clue...so how would I know what will be fav... DICA opened up 4/1... granted it was backed into around 2s...

As for not having a clue... I believe this was around 7/2...

BRADLEY BROOK

Even though this Hunter looks competitive BRADLY BROOK should take plenty of beating!
It brings by far the strongest P2P form into this race.

It looks a nice big chasing type, who has won its last 2 races with ease,  ( won4 out of the last 6) it fell 2 out on its seasonal debut when still in with a chance, then was tailed off and PU next time, obviously something amis.

Last time it won easily, sitting in 5th , it passed them as if they were standing still going to 3 out, then drew right away, staying on powerfully. ...visually very impressive!

The time before at Kilworthy.. ( a very good race) it was left in the lead when MINELLA FIFTY  fell 3 out,  both were travelling on the bridle….. but BRADLEY BROOKS again powered up the hill beating THETALKINGHORSE into 2nd ( had won its last 2), .......with BRACKENWOOD  well behind in 3rd ( won the time before and followed up next time)

Minella fifty had won its last 2, then went on to win next time beating another of the runners here in KINGS BENCH in to a well beaten  4th…
KINGS BENCH easily holds another runner here in BLINDING LIGHTS..

On the face of it BRADLEY BROOKS stands out here , the fly in the ointment could be the odd jumping error, jumps very well in the main though.
I will be disappointed if it doesn’t go very close with a clear round.

Now that was a maiden hunter, most coming from the point field...so as you can see I know a fair bit  ( you know that already)...
That is just one from many I could have chose... but wont blow my own trumpet.

I have nothing to prove, its all there in black and white over the years, cant get it right all of  the time, but who can....

The irony of claiming not to blow his own trumpet after giving details of a 4/1 winner he gave out as if he had tipped a big priced winner. Sorry to break it to you but 4/1 is a small price. You would struggle to find anybody in the country who has not themselves backed a 4/1 winner.

I gave up halfway through the first page of bickering - has anyone mentioned that the horse pulled up the only time it ever ran on soft? Clearly it does need to go right handed, but the ground is a bit of a worry. For me he's not a betting proposition today with only 2 places.

I did ask him why it had no chance after his 2 mins looking.....still no reply

Fergal O'Brien has taken out two runners but lets Creevytennant take his chance in the 2.45 and said: "He won't like the ground but it wll be safe for him and he has got to have a run - he needs a prep for Market Rasen and as he has to go right-handed there aren't a lot of opportunities."
