Dangerous for McCoy to try and come up the inside, where there was no room, especially when he every opportunity to go on the ouside,

i think he went there knowing he was beat and hoping they would flip it

Having said all the above, that last fence to line needs looking at.

Last time they said you have to move if its dangerous to send the other jock into a fence. Here he actively held McCoy in.

That was like undertaking a car in the slow lane by using the hard shoulder, then suddenly  see a broken down car up ahead and blame the guy in the slow lane because you have nowhere to go. Madness

If your scenario happened would you send the other guy into the parked car or try and help him out?

Not about helping him out.  The guy on the hard shoulder is the one who would lose his licence

Once he is where he is you have to let him through or it's beyond reckless.

McCoy and that the interference had improved MCLLHATTON (IRE)’s placing. They placed RUM AND BUTTER (IRE), first and MCLLHATTON (IRE) second. The Stewards found Twiston-Davies in breach of Rule (B)54.1 and guilty of careless riding in that he had failed to allow RUM AND BUTTER (IRE) a clear run on the outside. They suspended him for 2 days as follows: Friday 13 and Saturday 14 June 2014.
