I would like to know who decides the programme content.
I suspect it's someone who's just come out of university with a media degree and not two clues to click. It reached new levels of drivel today. The one programme each week devoted to racing and what do we get? About ten minutes of useful content padded out with ads,bookies going on about how brave they are in opposing the favourite,milkmen,beauty parlours,Sam Thomas and other ex jockeys talking about the past,replays of yesterday's finishes,jockeys vs rugby players in a pointless exercise,Paul Nicholls reminiscing about winning the race,interview with the Clerk Of The Course,telling us what is 'coming up', finding out if Mick Fitz slept well last night etc etc. I don't have a problem with the presenters.They have no choice but to work within the programme frame work. Basically,a waste of time. |

They could adopt a list of people like us.......may be 10/20 who they know have a knolage of the game & let U know in advance the content of the call & let U present your fancies & why.
Theres a kiddie down the pub thats become interested in racing..............asks me loads of questions........The point being ............he wont learn nothing watching that crap |

Probably think hey biggest day of the year but we've lost the regular once loyal racing audience so we'll try to attract a NEW following of donks and thickos who like watching milk floats and listening to drivel. That should stop the rot and at least add a few new viewers. The show is going like the footie did when ITV messed up and will be no coming back sadly because product is tainted now by association. I simply cannot imagine what Dubai and Ralphie et al make of the sharp decline in figures and sure they won't pay what they are doing when review and oops there goes the business model.You think it cannot get worse but it does. Programme has got no heartbeat and unfortunately no soul and nobody seems interested.
