BBC five live majored on a story about jockeys breaking bones this morning. It is always negative stories since they lost the contracts. Boxing is OK now that they cover it despite the fact that people are badly injured every year.

BBC are very hypocritical, considering their past links with racing
have they forgotten the great Peter O'Sullevan but they do have weird agendas now, BBC 1 appears to be run solely by feminists with a few exceptions, they have lost their reputation for both quality and impartiality r.i.p Our Connor ![]() |

The BBC is like a woman scorned, she is carrying out a one man campaign against horse racing.

I see today's Cheltenham headline on the BBC homepage is "Third horse dies at Cheltenham".
Presumably "Jockey seriously injured in fall" or "Sire De Grugy wins Champion Chase" wasn't juicy enough for them. |

^ a complete non event. Not quite sure what the agenda was or what conclusions were expected to be drawn. A very confused and ill thought out slot.

The BBC were happy to bask in the glow of the Grand National, Royal Ascot etc, for year - and still are to an extent. I'd have slightly more sympathy for their agenda if they weren't such laughable hypocrites.

To the opening poster - by your logic then, when the news is about North Korea, they shouldnt talk about the repression, prison camps, and public executions, cos thats not very pleasant or palatable TV viewing, but instead they should bask is the beautiful opulent palaces that Kim Jong-un can enjoy at his pleasure ...
Does that represent a appropriate analogy, would you say ?? |

"Yeah, look at top gear"
there's a rumour going around that the BBC are looking to cancel programs like Top Gear to save money. |
