Thanks for that Statsman, I'm def a player if another two team members re found but wouldn't dream of taking your place. I'm sure that two will turn up.

Tiger Tiger, I wasn't going to take part in he first place. I was substitute to make up any number deficiencies.
If we can't get another 2 players and Colin doesn't take up the offer, then you are more than welcome to step in. I'll remain a substitute in case anyone drops out or doesn't make a show. |

There's 18 players there, what's wrong with 3 x 6?
Also works with the number of races on the card, gives each team member a race each if you want to do it that way and the captain to pick the 7th race where one exists? Otherwise if it's teams of 4 you prefer I'm sure we'll get two more players. I'm deffo in but like Tiger not to take anyone's place or to take a captaincy slot, they should be reserved for the regulars. Cheers, Col. |

Colin, You wouldn't be taking anyone's place, as I've stated, I wasn't going to take part.
I take your point about the 18, but the reason for 4 per team is that I've created the spread sheets to automatically do the scoring and decided that was it, but am willing to alter this just the once. If I amended the spread sheets, this would stand and no other amendmends would be made. I would like to know from the regulars how they wish to procede with this. 4x5 teams (if possible) or 4x4 (1 person to miss out  )teams if not.6x3 teams 3x6 teams |

The rules are already in place Colin and no alterations will be made.
Everyone to pick 1 horse per race and to include 1 NAP. Scores to sp. This will not be altered. |

Before you decide on team size you need a definate cut off date and time for entrants, if not the number of players will always be changing.

Fair point AC, but the cut off date wasn't a problem. I should maybe have had a cut off figure for entrants. The problem there though was that it would have been harsh on present and old posters not being able to participate should they have wished.

I like the format of teams of 4,it doesn't bother me how many teams.
Imo the more people in a team,the more duplications,therefore not so interesting. |
