3.10 Warwick - Getting Ready

This horse has been getting backed across the boards, started out 16/1 with some bookies now down to 9/2 with Ladbrokes. I'm not sure what went wrong on his first start for Nigel Twiston Davies in December but that was in a much stronger race than today's where he travelled well until he suddenly came under pressure and fell back 10 lengths in no time at all before being pulled up. The support this morning looks significant and I can see this horse going very close in today's race. Last time out the horse was supported into 9/2 in a much stronger race than this and is available to back at 6.6 still on the exchange market. His strongest rival in the market Water Wagtail has never won under rules and none of his rivals look particularly strong betting prospects, only two have ever won over fences and as such I can see the horse starting at much shorter odds and if you can get on quick enough there could be a possibility of a back to lay before the race even starts. It would not surprise me if this horse goes off at about 3/1 with a very good chance of picking up a win. I have a feeling this could be a good thing and is my only bet on the nags today!
