Report queen bee December 20, 2013 5:03 PM GMT
In any other country would get thrown out not in this one Blush
Report starfish and coffee December 20, 2013 5:04 PM GMT
Surely that has cost the runner up more than a nose
Report Wesdag December 20, 2013 5:05 PM GMT
just seen it, should keep it
Report queen bee December 20, 2013 5:06 PM GMT
Def contact how can you say that min distance in it
Report starfish and coffee December 20, 2013 5:06 PM GMT
You think? Really think that should go giving the winning distance
Report Big Boss December 20, 2013 5:07 PM GMT
jockey put whip into left hand by design, might cost him
Report bilbobaggins December 20, 2013 5:08 PM GMT
Crikey - about 3 millimetres between them - it must go surely.
Report Wesdag December 20, 2013 5:09 PM GMT
Not enough interference in imo & also not clear the 2nd would go past. If was a dh, then yes.
Report Big Boss December 20, 2013 5:10 PM GMT
was going straight to me, why change whip hand ?

that must be what the stewards are asking Kingscote

Report queen bee December 20, 2013 5:14 PM GMT
Agree how far do you have to get beat not to get the race in this country
Report damo30 December 20, 2013 5:14 PM GMT
backed the winner at 1-2 after race best bet ever that was never going to be reversed jockey will get a day ban
Report Wesdag December 20, 2013 5:15 PM GMT
About the only thing I usually get right, UK stewards.
Report westfour4 December 20, 2013 5:15 PM GMT
Since when do they change a result on that criteria. A ban will be imposed and that is that.
Report damo30 December 20, 2013 5:16 PM GMT
there was no interference
Report starfish and coffee December 20, 2013 5:17 PM GMT
There clearly was
Report Wesdag December 20, 2013 5:18 PM GMT
There was interference but not enough for the winner to get chucked. I'm sure the bha site will say as much later.
Report all along December 20, 2013 8:25 PM GMT
why have stewards at all.they never do anything
Report all along December 20, 2013 8:32 PM GMT
if there wasinterference then result should have been reversed
Report Wesdag December 20, 2013 8:35 PM GMT
There'll always be interference unless you get horses to run in lanes.
Report queen bee December 21, 2013 10:29 AM GMT
The Stewards held an enquiry under Rule (B)11.6 into possible interference inside the final half furlong. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race they found that the winner, TRINITYELITEDOTCOM (IRE), ridden by Richard Kingscote, had interfered with IPTISAM, placed second, ridden by Luke Morris and that the interference had not improved TRINITYELITEDOTCOM (IRE)’s placing. They ordered the placings to remain unaltered. The Stewards found Kingscote in breach of Rule (B)54.1 and guilty of careless riding in that he allowed his horse to drift right-handed. They cautioned him as to his future conduct in races.
This sums up all that is a joke with racing in uk,
Was there interference YES
Did the jockey break the rules YES
Did it win by min distance YES
Shall we let the result stand then and let the jockey get off for breaking the rules and winning by doing so YES
Blush
