a big swing in the odds just then, someone knows
By:
In any other country would get thrown out not in this one

By:
Surely that has cost the runner up more than a nose
By:
just seen it, should keep it
By:
Def contact how can you say that min distance in it
By:
You think? Really think that should go giving the winning distance
By:
jockey put whip into left hand by design, might cost him
By:
Crikey - about 3 millimetres between them - it must go surely.
By:
Not enough interference in imo & also not clear the 2nd would go past. If was a dh, then yes.
By:

Agree how far do you have to get beat not to get the race in this country
By:
backed the winner at 1-2 after race best bet ever that was never going to be reversed jockey will get a day ban
By:
About the only thing I usually get right, UK stewards.
By:
Since when do they change a result on that criteria. A ban will be imposed and that is that.
By:
there was no interference
By:
There clearly was
By:
There was interference but not enough for the winner to get chucked. I'm sure the bha site will say as much later.
By:
why have stewards at all.they never do anything
By:
if there wasinterference then result should have been reversed
By:
There'll always be interference unless you get horses to run in lanes.

The Stewards held an enquiry under Rule (B)11.6 into possible interference inside the final half furlong. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race they found that the winner, TRINITYELITEDOTCOM (IRE), ridden by Richard Kingscote, had interfered with IPTISAM, placed second, ridden by Luke Morris and that the interference had not improved TRINITYELITEDOTCOM (IRE)’s placing. They ordered the placings to remain unaltered. The Stewards found Kingscote in breach of Rule (B)54.1 and guilty of careless riding in that he allowed his horse to drift right-handed. They cautioned him as to his future conduct in races.
This sums up all that is a joke with racing in uk, Was there interference YES Did the jockey break the rules YES Did it win by min distance YES Shall we let the result stand then and let the jockey get off for breaking the rules and winning by doing so YES ![]() |
