Its really good paying a premium charge for a ****g POS service.
Still not working here. Except obviously via Sportsbook. Which seems a much better LV service than I've previously encountered.

The service announcement of 12.30 today remains as is, with no update.
These announcements usually disappear WITHOUT trace and WITHOUT update, in the hope that the particular problem has been solved or more usually that Betfair customers have resigned themselves that this was just another Bf Video problem to be blamed on a third party supplier.
An update on the status and possible resolution of the problem reported at lunchtime today is awaited.

Still the same here - let's hope that sportsbook saves the day again because it doesn't look as though BF's engineers who have been working urgently and as a matter of the highest priority for 24 hours will.

mine is the same as yesterday, video works on the exchange on new site but still not working on old site.
They seem to have taken away the video log in that phucked us yesterday.

It's very stuttery on sportsbook...they are obviously trying to force the sportsbook site on to people over the christmas period.

Below is the latest from Betfair. The English is awful. I cannot understand it.
I have had enough. We have had three days of this now. I have just looked at the other company (purple) and their liquidity looks a lot better than it used to. I am going to try them now. Suggest we vote with our feet. Betfair do not deserve my business.
As workaround for the Live Video issues, if you are accessing via the embedded player on the market via of the new site, Live Video should be available. You can turn this on by going to 'Display Options' and clicking the 'Display Live Video' option.
The issue with livevideo.betfair.com continues to be investigated.

display live video option...auto play option, any combination ...neither work for me, and as I say, this sprtsbook has my CPU at night on 100%
use the pop up button on the right of the volume to get a better picture

Now they will be able to say a bigger percentage of our customers have used the new site so we will close the old one.

I think its all to do with getting rid of the old site.
why can't they accept that majority of punters prefair the old one.

That shouldn't effect the pop-up player that I use though.
I've given up ringing or responding to their phone calls too, since they always claim it's my fault.
ex101 all pages sportsbook etc etc from yesterday still, incl this am, now all my account balance suddenly showing £0.01 to match the error code.

unbelievable - couldn't pick up a hooker in a ****house
i can only get it to work by using the embedded video on the new site
when i click on full video schedule its the same problem as when using the old site
yep that's the only way...click display options on the market page, scroll down, click the show live video box, switch to the new site, go to the market on the new site and it will be there.
This is really weird as I'm able to just use the "normal" way to see the live video - but it looks like I'm the only one who can do this!!
I'm now able to watch it the normal way on the old site although it is pausing quite badly and losing time

I can't use the old site or new site...sportsbook only...that workaround doesn't work at all.
The only thing I did to get it was close betfair, remove cookies etc, switch off/on.
I had to do that twice but it eventually worked for me.

Mine was phucked on friday, but I've had no probs last 2 days.
If you are not asked to log in specifically to LV on the old site then you should be OK, However, if the log in is required you are bugggered.

The thoughtful gesture of taking the premium charge on Christmas Eve rather than Christmas Day more than makes up for these problems.
Logged out and cleared cookies to try sort pausing problem, now can't get back in to live video!

Cheers Duffy, lets hope, haven't been any event to try picture yet, but even I can open LV now unlike the past few days.
BF's 'workaround' was a mare again yesterday - slowed my pc and functioning to a virtual standstill and cost another shedsworth of £ again.
Each race when the new site betslip picture finally appeared the races were usually over and all I saw was some hapless jock trudging back to the weighroom after a presumed unseat or other etc and a trading chasm in my balance.
The clueless BF muppets have been hopeless with emails, as always and have no service update again I see.
