Your existing Online subscription will soon be closed, so you will need to upgrade to Racing UK Anywhere, which costs £20.80 per month.

RUK have achieved what I had thought the impossibel. After 2 weeks of almost n0n-existent service they've a produced a new website that's even worse than the old one.

Listen chaps ... I want your cr@p service for one reason and one reason only ... to watch live racing on my pc.

Is that too much to ask?

Qite possibly, but then £20 a month is too much to ask for a non-resizable 3" x 5" screen.
Report lancastrian November 9, 2013 12:53 PM GMT
I'd have tolerated the increase if they were really giving me ruk ANYWHERE (my emphasis) as they were giving me the same price until my annual subscription ran out but looking at the small print you can only change devices once a month...my main access is through my desktop but it would have been nice to have three devices ie for me mobile/tablet and my desktop on main, but that isn't what they are offering...

To use an old gambling phrase I don't see the value...

Their service stinks and the fact you cannot contact a person. This whole upgrade typifies them. All those days of service lost with downtime and no days added back on for compensation. Its like they have 1 IT guy and that's probably outsourced.
Hasnt been mentioned yet but no UPC tv option even though there was before the 'upgrade'. And not a word about it either not even a 'UPC coming soon'.
Its almost as if were getting the two fingers. It was great to have it I'm going to run down my sub(expires in December) and then i'm out and ill get it from other sources lets just say 'OSS'Wink.

Businesses today love people like rstar and deadbrain - no price is too high and they can charge practically what they want to these people (with a worse service) so they do! 'Fair enough' says rstar, 'I can afford it so I'll pay it, anybody that can't is a pleb' - meanwhile back in the real world, the price goes up, service gets worse and people still pay more and more. You really can't blame RUK for cutting costs, charging more and worsening the service  - they certainly know their core audience!

they were well behind live a couple of years ago "to improve picture quality" and everyone who got migrated from the racing post members video service told them to gfy.  For me they were faster than betfair live video in the summer/autumn.  Both ruk and atr are perfectly capable of supplying very fast streams, why they don't is obv sinister.
