stop waiting for the irish race to finish, poxy irish racing always late off or false starts, atr have clashes all the time with their own meetings, they dont wait.

Just checked their site again to see if they are increasing prices for internet only access.
Can't find out,but under the options of platforms is the following:
'Sed ut perspiciatus unde omnis aste natus error sit voluptatem accusantium doloremque laudantium, totam rem aperian..
it goes on for another two lines.
Tried Bing translator, but didn't work. Anyone know what it says? Or even what language it's in? !!!

We can confirm that a customer services representative will respond to your email as quickly as possible.

If you are experiencing technical issues please refer to the FAQ/Help pages available on the website.

Had to laugh at the later part of that Grin

Cant get through to any of their phone numbers either - lousy customer service imo

They want money in, and people just to be grateful for whatever output they manage to put out. Any problems its out of their hands so keep it schtum and dont dare cancel the direct debit. Disgusting company in my view.

On hold for 15 minutes still no agent available.
My pay as you go phone then ran out of funds.
Lost 5 days coverage in last week or so,cost me a fiver in phone calls and now they want to increase the fee for internet
by 33% based on an annual contract?
Think I'll tell them what they can do with that idea.(If I can ever contact them that is).

Found figures of 40,000 in 2012 mmm didnt think it would that high. All that money for a mediocre service , must be lapping it up.

Finally got reconnected. 3" by 5" screen.
A 33% price increase.
I suspect a lot of subscribers, like me, will have clicked on the 'No thank you' button for 'upgrading'.
Typical British Management. Not a clue what their customers want.

I paid for a 12 month subscription in May, they just sent me the below email, they are having a fcu*ing laff aren't they?????

Your existing Online subscription will soon be closed, so you will need to upgrade to Racing UK Anywhere, which costs £20.80 per month.

RUK have achieved what I had thought the impossibel. After 2 weeks of almost n0n-existent service they've a produced a new website that's even worse than the old one.

Listen chaps ... I want your cr@p service for one reason and one reason only ... to watch live racing on my pc.

Is that too much to ask?

Qite possibly, but then £20 a month is too much to ask for a non-resizable 3" x 5" screen.
By:
lancastrian
When: 09 Nov 13 12:53
I'd have tolerated the increase if they were really giving me ruk ANYWHERE (my emphasis) as they were giving me the same price until my annual subscription ran out but looking at the small print you can only change devices once a month...my main access is through my desktop but it would have been nice to have three devices ie for me mobile/tablet and my desktop on main, but that isn't what they are offering...

To use an old gambling phrase I don't see the value...

Joker!, website has been rubbish for a few weeks now,and new website seems worse. Is the new website screen not re-sizable?? really!

When: 09 Nov 13 13:22
lancastrian I have it through Sky and have added desktop and ipad last night, also tried Freeview where all you do is take one device off and add another. It allowed me to do exactly what they said. I feel for people who only watched on desktop but now have to shell out  a bit more and admittedly the website has been dire along with the customer service BUT when it was working last night the 3 devices were well and truly working as described.

When: 09 Nov 13 13:22
I'd rather pay 50p to a bookie to watch a race I'm interested in even if it is on a poxy small screen, than pay £20 a month for this level of incompetence.

Harrumph.

Can't login at all again.
Maybe 'Racing UK Anywhere' should be 'Racing UK Anywhere?'

When: 09 Nov 13 13:25
well I can't see a way of resizing it. On the old one you could make it bigger by pressing Ctrl +, which was a pain because the txt got bigger too.

On the new one the text gets bigger, but the picture stays the same size .... this is not progress as we know it! Sad
