This thread is doing wonders for attracting bids on these Aintree Off pitches - Not !!! Perhaps the reserve prices quoted are the amounts the sellers will pay for the 'buyers' taking them off their hands !!!

I think you are agreeing with me adge yet appearing to disagree. I think you said there is only one ring if so this is definitely to the Tatts layers detriment.

Adge, the rails have never really been a problem for the first bay of tatts books as if you come from the paddock you hit those first tatts books well before the rails, they areb further along, what has killed it is the new stand, you are now directed to the county from the paddock, theres bars, betting shop etc in the county,no need for anyone to go anywhere else,i would estimate those 7 books get almost half the whole business on the track.

If at the end of the auction the selling price was £10 ( see pick 107 ) what would be the nett return to the seller after AGT had taken their cut ?
|
|
By:
A loss of £14.96. i.e. £10.00 sales proceeds less £24.96 costs.
(£24.00 to AGT, £0.80 to Aintree and £0.16 to the VAT man) |

uwgs,
which would you say is worth the most [ the best bargain buy ]? tatts number 9 or rails number 15 |

I think the key consideration is who you are betting next to. The pitches will hold about the same but the tatts pitch may bet a bit better?
For the main meeting the tatts pitch will be worth at least 50% more. |
