Come on then,spill the beans.
By:
you have to say more than that , max , did anyone see a ring manager at any time after pitching up.?
By:
I DIDNT ATTEND,BUT THE RULE IS IF THE OFFENDER/S STOOD IN A TOP 20 PICK THEN RULE NOT ENFORCED,IF ITS A KHAZI PICK OFFENDER WARNED OFF
1,O1 OFFENDING BOOK BET IN THE TOP TWENTY. |
By:
16 RUNNER HANDICAP REDUCED TO 15 SEVERAL BOOKS STILL DISPLAYING ONE FIFTH THE ODDS UP UNTIL THE OFF
By:
putting the equipment in that tent also wasn't enforced.
By:
Could it have been a genuine mistake though? you can have the wrong sign up but still be betting correct, did you see a ticket with 1/5 odds maxed?
By:
I was about to say that ribero1. Provided the tickets were issued with the correct terms, we can all make mistakes with changing signs.
By:
I don't know how this works with the RDT system. do you have to change things manually ?
with the superior exante system once you withdraw a horse it resets to 1/4 odds automatically |
By:
did not have time to go playing ring manager/but this will spread if not nipped in bud
By:
It does with RDT adge.
By:
then it sounds as though it would be a signage thing then ribero.
By:
I had to change the place terms manually after the horse was withdrawn {rdt}I must admit I thought it would do it automatically.i can only speak of tatts but the brm did have to tell one book to change his terms I do really think knowing the firm it was a genuine mistake.
By:
Unless maxed knows more?
By:
took the time to change signage to 3 places a fifth.also displayed onboard which then prints on ticket
By:
Guilty as charged then.

By:
Brm's to busy checking their place-pot perms and demanding mush's to be lowered.
By:
I believe that we are talking about the best mate enclosure.
the BRM will pop over to pitch in and then go back over to tatts for his coffee and biscuits and would never be seen again |
By:
ribero
did you enjoy your day watching ruk ? |
By:
On a separate subject, a Rails bookmaker was not allowed to bet at Kelso yesterday as he had not submitted his registration forms.
By:
Arguably too much racing jimnast,i always try a few things in running when at home (only in a small way)but never seem to do any good on a busy Saturday!Murtagh has been amazing this season hasn't he and as I've always been a Hughes fan enjoyed Olympic Glory, interesting to see dettori in the winners enclosure, looks as though he's dropped on a good job there, also saw a very good interview with Andrew Tinkler on replay this morning, seems a good bloke.
By:
Sounds like something Norrie would forget to do itk?
By:
ribero watching Olympic glory makes you realise how good moonlight cloud is,i thought the champion stakes was the best flat race I have seen for many years, pleased for ascot they got such a spectacle in there first year without frankel.
By:
Yes got it in one. I don't think he was there himself but his team couldn't bet.
By:
as a matter of interest with the current rdt system if u change the place terms to 1/5 th odds for a 16 runner handicap and there is a late withdrawal to reduce it to 15 runners the rdt system will default to 1/5 th odds 1/2/3
I understand this will be fixed in the new year when the latest version comes out Rails bookmaker at redcar also using a betfair brolly |
By:
rlyl
that is exactly what happens. |
By:
Shows what I know about the computer then!
By:
best keeping it that way ribero that computer does far to much now.
By:
interesting point rhyl
By:
so why can't RDT do anything about it until the new year
you lads pay them enough !! |
By:
after having monthly updates a couple of years ago it was suggested they do an annual
'big fix' ~ one would presume this will also remove the 1/6th 1/7th etc from the system as well |
By:
perhaps while they are at it they can remove 17/4 30/1 122/1 etc.
By:
perhaps they can incorporate a "bet to decent figures" button too.
By:
also rdt customers have found it very easy to adjust the terms when betting 1/5th ew in four horse races etc. no excuse for not altering ew terms on withdrawals to fit the rules.
By:
Give a reason why you won't use decimal prices, and,at the same time, give you a wider price range within exchange parameters.
Example, the guy next to you is showing 4/1,why not go 4.1,or4.2,in order to be competitive, and get the punters shopping around, like in the good old days of not so long ago. It will make interesting reading to see why it won't be done. |
By:
it is unbiased , sadly , some do go 17/4 [ 4.25 to you ]
