So first we discover that he is not Roger Charlton's first runner in the Arc after all.

Stay tuned for the revelation that he is not in fact 'drawn in the car park' either.

Still got the false straight to contend with though.

if doyle gets a sit in midfield no worse than 2 deep and he is close up coming round the final bend......he wins no question whatso ever unless he stupidly trys to get close tot he early pace.

what ever he does he does not want to be on the inside in this.

the horse doesn't have the form to win, exposed

the horse doesn't have the form to win

tbf none of these do....the thinking is once he got over his injury he raced over too short mixing it with the 1m 2f regulars and winning.
the step up will put this horse in its element and is unexposed at that distance....and in theory will improve with the step up.....i was always convinced this is a stayer.

His beatings up of Camelot look second rate now , added to his draw , no chance imo.

AK ran very well given the barging match & the fact he nearly came down. He needed a truly run race. That was like a 3 furlong sprint.

I blamed the Firm ground at York for him getting beaten,i just don't think he was letting himself down.
But after watching him in Ireland,i think they need to put a pair of Visors on him,he Never once got his head in front, not even Two Furlongs after the winning post, when he looked as though he was going to Mount "The Fugue".
