Keep laying them. Six winners this month, biggest SP 7/2.

I'd like to see him retire in one piece.

Fair point Olgit1 but he still looks a hungry as ever. Maybe he should take leaf out of Ruby/Johnnys book and handpick the 'good uns' to prolong his career but his relentless winning mentality(not greed imo) means he'll be riding in them legends races at 60 then off to hexham for the night meeting

I don't think he is at his best but hardly likely to retire atm.
What I find hard to understand is the strong possibility of his career being badly tainted by his association with the 2 stables that we all are aware of. Fine as he rarely does the work of getting the horses mark but still guilty by association and for a guy who ground out winner after winner in more honest places it all seems pretty sad to me. |

MCP horses imo ran on merit and many won first time out. Plenty came from other stables off good marks and won quickly and often, Shooting Light being a good example.
I don't remember too many 3 run beaten 456 length handicap debutants! |

No one in racing has much in the way of outside interests. They all want to stay in the game in some way.
What do you think AP will do? Many who get jobs within racing administration are not really up to it. I suppose he could take over from Mick Fitz:-) |
