The Sportsbook is the same as betting with an ordinary bookmaker.
The fact that there has been no announcement on the forum despite the fact that the site apparently hasn't been working for hours is symptomatic of the way this place is going. |

Soz. I only realised what it was myself a month or two ago. I somehow managed to get on their corporate website the other night where they continue to admit that their core business is the exchange. It's a pity they don't take more care of it and indeed of the forum which has been another unique feature of their business.

I am surprised they would even admit that it was their core business, as they clearly want to move in another direction.

I suspect they can't hide the fact that a VERY high percentage of their turnover continues to come from the exchange. I'd love to know exactly how much they take on Vegas Slots,Bingo etc. Probably a bit more this morning

I must say I thought they were going to ditch the forum,but they are going to look a bit silly if they do having said they have new plans for it. We may not get invites though |

madhatters, yes that would be my question regarding betfair no longer making a contribution to the sport. Their answer was as expected as the company is now no different in their attitude than the offshore bookmakers.
