'In-Running' Liquidity is ATROCIOUS.... Backing or Laying.

Apart from the odd occasion - ONLY the WINNER gets Matched below EVENS -

- and then not for much - a bit at 2.0 - a bit more at, say, 1.7 - then some at 1.3 - and some at the 'neck end' ...

- and you won't be Laying many of the Losers at less than their SP, either.

All Races start 'bang on time'.

Forget in running - no liquidity as onlooker states. Good value to be had before start though.

Betting in-running is illegal in Australia unless you bet via the phone which will be why liquidity is so poor. The only people betting in-running will be non-Australian residents.

Jaws - I read something similar - BUT quite a while ago.

That is not true Jaws, betting on sports in running online is not legal, but you can certainly do it on horse racing

Also onlooker it doesn't matter which site you open, they check your IP address, if I try to bet on a sport here it says we have detected you're in Australia, however if I am overseas and access betfair.com.au and bet in play it's fine.

I luv the Australian racing. Next time I build my bank up to thousands, I am going to visit my cousin`s family that live in Newcsatle area, rather than lose it all back as I normally do. Usually start with about 100 and at end of last year I was up to over 8 grand within a month. Apart from a grand or so I spent on family, I lost the lost back when I hit a bad patch and started chasing. I`ll buy you a pint Joel and Jaws too when I arrive in Melbourne

I love the aussie racing too, the one big stand out difference between here and there is that the aussie racing is uncompetitive, the market leaders dominate massively and you rarely see outsiders win, obviously it does happen but absolutely nothing like you would see over here.

as for in-running, you can forget it from this end because the pictures are heavily delayed.

its hilarious that the aus government have banned in running betting when the country is infested with those bloody pokie machines.
