No one should complain about punishment, it's only a pity that bigger fish aren't treated in similar fashion.

Pity the Sligo stewards couldn't dish out the same to Cash - practically the same offence.

That is a shocking ban given the performance by The Misses Mangan and Walsh  a few weeks back when they let one go miles off in front. Poor judgement by the lad which is no different from their performances IMO. As we have come to expect , consistency doesn't seem to apply from one day to the next.

must be a poor trainer to not have known the ability of the horse , and  to have run it as a non jigger .
if i was the owner i would be fuming , could have had a nice touch at a big price , or at least had a go .

Little fish are sweet and the olde boys club are seen to be doing their job. They wont ever haul in a shark because they have no interest in the big boys........

It is good to see stewards taking action. However it is always the small man

Held up in rear, remote 8th before 2 out, went 6th between last 2 and still plenty to do travelling well in moderate 5th before last, stayed on strongly without threatening principals, nearest finish

ANALYSIS
--------

The run ofMassini´s Trap caught many an eye, including that of the stewards. His rider only got after the strong traveller in the closing stages and he flashed home, albeit all too late.
Irrespective of what one thinks, this suggests that the four-year-old is finally going to build on his debut run in a 1m maiden last year.
