Sometimes you just have to sit and shake your head in utter disbelief at what you have just seen. That was one of those occasions.

The trainer gets a winner as often as royal baby is born. What do they be messing around for? Most likely story is he saw there was an even money shot this morning and chickened out..

Only his second time over the jumps. Took a while to get the hang of it and looks like a sure fire future winner, maybe Galway .

The exceptional part is you could make a case for that winning 15 lengths.

The way the race played out was a nightmare for connections.

He must be a tidy apprentice to conjure a losing move on that without standing up in saddle and yanking it back.

Easy gold, don't see why this wouldn't have a chance to win a maiden in Galway. This was a decent maiden. The second was a highly rated horse on the flat and not so long ago finished 3 lengths off Camelot. Massini's  is obviously in good nick and you need to be at your peak to win in Galway. I'm not saying he's a good thing to win there but being a strong finisher here off a strong pace I think he might get a good pace at Galway with a stiff uphill finish.

Looks ten times worse on the head-on.  Darrell the anker has got it in his notebook.

Em, there is only a couple of maiden hurdle races at the festival, and you need a better horse than this fellow to win around there. And this race is a  very poor contest (the winner made five errors and still won) and NEVER take ratings on the flat and bring them to N.Hunt NEVER.

if there is something dodgy going on here its because its being saved for another day, what i don't understand is it was clearly ready today and at a huge price. 90 sp on BF i think? so why not smash it into 20-1 and make a fortune. becaus eyou know this beast will be 5-4 fav NTO. bl00dy irish huh?

You're probably right Easy , maybe Tramore in August would be an easier target with a run down the field in Galway to erase the memory of this one.

He has had 2 rides in the last 6 months. That 50 day ban will be a right killer for him

Wonder how many days if it was one of the senior jockeys
