same here , pausing every 2-3 seconds
By:
its always 1.01 when there is 2 or more sis tracks on
By:
Very quick but constant stutter almost unwatchable here
By:
stuttery as feck at curragh and NA then
![]() |
By:
i have no issues - the odd jump but very quick on atr and that is what everyone wanted wasn't it?
By:
same old fackin story innit zzzzzzzzz
By:
faster but not pausing would be better
By:
Curragh is a write off.
By:
they are probably using the ATR stream now
By:
the stuttering gets worse the further into the race you get....you have to go for a refresh at the precise moment to squeeze in the last part of the race uninterrupted.
By:
im watching with another bookmakers stream and its the same on there
By:
newton abbot was fine there .
if it is the same on other bookmakers sites , then the problem must be from the provider |
By:
John - what issues are you getting with the Curragh? we have had no reported issues and I am watching it and seems good to me.
We have noticed it is a bit stuttery but the speed is excellent and this is what customers voted for. One step at a time I believe is the phrase. Compared to the last few weeks there is significant progress with the speed, the quality has slightly suffered but we and I feel it is more than adequate to use. |
By:
We voted for speed and no stuttering
By:
pausing every 2-3 seconds for a fraction of a second which is off putting . but it doesn't lose speed
By:
how can u play when it is like that that is a joke u want it all the same slow it down a fraction it is un playable
By:
I am sorry Duffy you do not agree with my statement - we offered speed or quality in our canvass of forum and twitter clients...speed was voted by nearly 99% of people who gave their opinions. We will look into getting the stuttering fixed but we did explain up front that quality may be affected, as I say one step at a time. I can also see we are not the only ones with stuttering pictures today...
By:
Didn't take long for the "this is what customers voted for" spin
No one voted for they pauses surely. Keep the speed remove the pauses |
By:
Hasn't the technology been invented to enable us to have both
, at the moment we are getting a chocolate cake with a turd on it and when we question the turd we are being told, what are you moaning about, you've got the cake haven't you??![]() |
By:
picture quality is fine . i can see no difference
By:
The video looks like it is constantly pausing slightly and catching up and probably appears alot worse at the Curragh as that is a flat meeting.
It was the same at Ripon yesterday. I can't comment on the ruk tracks. |
By:
Thanks John - will look into
Starfish - not sure what to say to that to be honest.... Will leave you all to it for now...... |
By:
the speed was fine. there comes a crossover point when you cannot sacrifice quality just for the sake of an extra 0.3 seconds or whatever.
it's quite simply unplayable like this |
By:
Anyway, what we were offered was, a less stuttery lv if it was slowed down even further than it was already at!
By:
You seem a bit touchy today BCM2 !
All people are saying is the stuttering is making it hard to watch at times. cheers |
By:
also , one step at a time ?
surely the first step was taken nearly 2 years ago when the problems started and you were made aware of issues a catalogue of different problems ever since one step in 2 years ? wont be holding my breath here |
By:
There doesn't seem to be any noticeable stuttering whilst the horses are milling around before the race starts...what's the difference to then and during the race.
By:
N.A. there was fine
By:
tipperary ok there
so it seems a bit hit and miss |
By:
lets c how the curragh is
By:
Thanks Rcing / Duffy - seems a tad better, I have Curragh at the moment, still jumpy at parade area, same on another book - am i allowed to quote the "Heat" excuse? or is that too early?
![]() But seriously I have got the team here looking into it at the moment - we have not found anything our end and believe it is because of the increased speed - so I have asked them to see what / if anything we can do without affecting the speed to iron out the jumping. Will come back to you all. |
By:
BCM2
i believe it has been stuttery on other bookmakers sites for the last few weeks , since the ATR change over . so i would doubt it is anything to do with betfair . |
By:
The Newton Abbot 3.50 was bad, looked like it was flickering, then down the back straight there was a very slight pause and after that it was smooth.
By:
Just got the 4pm Stratford on here and i am slightly ahead of SiS which is quite pleasing
By:
How badly was your SIS pausing though?
![]() |
By:
No idea to know how well a horse is going when the pause happens just as the horses are about to jump a fence then doesn't correct itself until 2 seconds after they've landed
By:
exactly , makes them look robotic aswell . you can't see how it's travelling ...
always happens on a heavy ATR day |
By:
Look the pictures have been pretty good since July 1st when many on here were doommongers. It's a little bit pausey today but not disastrous. Ideally we need to get rid of the pauses but the speed must stay the same.
By:
Having reviewed last 5 ATR races - all ahead of SiS..make of that what you will - but a definate improvement. Agree with the pauses and it will be looked into with supplier etc.
