This race has been the target for a while now. At the top of his game both on the flat/jumps and will attract plenty of interest money wise. Ground conditions will be right up his street and this stamina test is ideal for him.
Make no mistake he will run a massive race. I expect the beast to open at approx. 7/2 and may well contract.

Ive had 6 attempts at backing a winner ...................
first of all, best of luck gold nugget. personally at the price this is a lay for me. 12lb higher than her last win where on official ratings, the best horse in the race was wyborne, who was sent off at 33/1. that one reopposes here and i would not be surprised to see that one finish much closer. i think this race is more competitive than the betting may suggest. i will be backing mawaqeet as i think there is a decent race to be won with this one and i think he is a lot better than what he has shown recently.

ty virgin, had £50 each way at 11/1 this morning and think it hit a low of 1.04 ir i believe. i was already to collect then had it pinched from me by eagle rock who just wouldn't be denied. oh well.
