I cannot understand why they never learn.  Just what is the problem with riding out to the line?

Why do they keep doing it ? He looks back twice, first time two lengths down, second time a length down, there's literally no reason why you'd do that ? He even pushes it out once he realises what he's done.

There should be a set of stocks at every race-course where people can throw as much crap at them as they'd like.

It isn't as if this sort of horse is going to be murdered by the handicapper for getting a lenghth win, this is why this sort of thing should set alarm bells ringing.

Insufficient deterrent is the problem. If a jockey knew that his license would be revoked if found guilty of failing to ride the horse out it just wouldn't happen.
