Why do they keep doing it ? He looks back twice, first time two lengths down, second time a length down, there's literally no reason why you'd do that ? He even pushes it out once he realises what he's done.
There should be a set of stocks at every race-course where people can throw as much crap at them as they'd like. |

It isn't as if this sort of horse is going to be murdered by the handicapper for getting a lenghth win, this is why this sort of thing should set alarm bells ringing.

Insufficient deterrent is the problem. If a jockey knew that his license would be revoked if found guilty of failing to ride the horse out it just wouldn't happen.
