Imagine the Champion Hurdle run at Plumpton. Running the supposed greatest flat race in the World at Epsom is just the same. Anyhow, only the Dawn can save an awful flat season.
Come on now. Greatest flat race in the world? Maybe it used to be a big race in England, but that is about it.
I think the rest of the world would be obvlivious what it even is.... If they did, you might find you wouldn't have a small field with fillers such as Ocean Applause, a 16 start maiden with 7.5k in earnings.................

Worst ever ?
With 3 unbeaten horses in the line up and 3 others who have only lost once it's a bit early to be making that call.
Between the whole field, we have:
A 4 horse G3 race won.
A 5 horse G2 race won.
An 8 horse G2 race won.
Second fav has won 2 4 horse G2 races, and a 5 horse G3 race.
A German G3 race.
Fav has won 3 G1s and a G2.
Take the favourite out and you have 2 horses that have won a Group race with a field greater than 5 horses in it, and one of them was in Germany.
If this isn't up there with the worst fields, then I would hate to say what was. But then last year, of all the horses finishing behind the winner, only 1 of them has won a race of any kind, being a 6 horse G2 race, so I guess that is up there. Well, at least you would hope so if this is the "greatest flat race in the world".....
Keep your expectations ridiculously low, and you will always be satisfied.

BJTMy point was the majority of the field is still unexposed. If you can't grasp that you are even dimmer than I suspected.
If you have no argument, try and make it personal. Usual story.
Yawn.....
