should be ban there, disgrace, but the BHA love her...nothing will happen...thats why u never back a woman jockey
Report TRD.Racing May 29, 2013 8:36 PM BST
Surely they can see her ease down thinking she had it won.then riding again once she saw Sanders finishing
Report bilbobaggins May 29, 2013 8:48 PM BST
Just watched it - she thought she had it won and didn't try hard enough in the final 50 yards. She was shocked to be chinned on the line and should be banned but won't be.
Report TRD.Racing May 29, 2013 8:50 PM BST
Eases up then push push push near the line
Report TheJudge May 29, 2013 8:52 PM BST
Im loathe to say she should/would have won cause I backed it and it's hard to quantify but a touch more effort wouldn't have gone amiss here
Report TRD.Racing May 29, 2013 8:54 PM BST
The Judge I backed the winner and should not have collected
Report manorf. May 30, 2013 7:53 PM BST
She's had a bad week really - very unfairly jocked off The Lark in the Oaks by Frank - and is on the point of splitting with Michael Bell over it. No bad thing for her - she will get a much better job than the one with Bell anyway.
Report Deltâ May 30, 2013 7:56 PM BST
would have disappeared by now without Bell ala Saleem styley
Report Mick Sturbs May 30, 2013 7:59 PM BST
she is not as good as she thinks she is

Hayley Love
Report TRD.Racing May 30, 2013 8:02 PM BST
She is average at best. The fact that she is a woman has helped her profile. A male rider with her ability would be a struggling
every day jockey
Report manorf. May 30, 2013 8:04 PM BST
she's a top, top class jockey and can do better than being with Bell.
Report TRD.Racing May 30, 2013 8:05 PM BST
Absolute rollocks
Report jonjo May 30, 2013 8:07 PM BST
I think she's deteriorated markedly over the last two years & am very wary of backing her these days
Report TheJudge May 30, 2013 8:18 PM BST
too much media attention, takes a good one to get to the top takes a great one to put in the work to maintain superior performance, the two are very different which is why those at the top of their profession for prolonged periods warrant extra respect, I cant rememeber it exactly but there's a great Marvin Hagler quote something about it being difficult to get out of silk sheets at 4 in the morning to go for a run
Report Wesdag May 30, 2013 8:25 PM BST
'It's real hard to get up at 5am & run 5 miles when you're in a 4 post bed wearing silk pyjamas'
Report manorf. May 30, 2013 8:36 PM BST
She rides for MANY different trainers all of whom must rate her. = injury-free Hayley will ride 100 winners a year and you only do that if you are a top class jockey. IMHO she is a much better rider and judge of pace than Spencer.
Report Roger De Bris May 30, 2013 8:40 PM BST
easing them out of the places is 'er forte...
Report Roger De Bris May 30, 2013 8:41 PM BST
when she has to go for her stick youre banjoed...Crazy
Report penzance May 30, 2013 8:47 PM BST
layed that winning favourite last night,
she just got chinned on the line it seemed to me.
If she eased up there would be alot more posts on
this thread.Deserves to be given a horse with a
good chance in a classic, did alright on Dream Ahead.
Report manorf. May 30, 2013 8:58 PM BST
That Dream Ahead ride was true class - and the pressure was on her that day. Khalifa Dasmal is a true gentleman and a very fair man. His good judgement in giving her the ride was rewarded. Let's see how Spencer rewards Bell's poor judgement on giving him the ride on The Lark which is a horse he doesn't get on with at home.
Report Brother Mouzone May 30, 2013 9:00 PM BST
Getting on a bit now but I'd deffo still do her.
Report Deltâ May 30, 2013 9:01 PM BST
she will be pleased!
Report TheJudge May 30, 2013 9:05 PM BST
Laugh

thank you Wes
Report Brother Mouzone May 30, 2013 9:06 PM BST
anyone here wear silk pajamas and have a four poster?
Report penzance May 30, 2013 9:08 PM BST
got nylon ones and a 4 incher!
Report manorf. May 30, 2013 9:18 PM BST
Well my guess is Michael Bell will be the loser - without a regular rider for his horses without Hayley.

And, it's 1.01 that she rides double the number of winners between now and the end of the season that he will train!
Report Deltâ May 30, 2013 9:20 PM BST
run along now manorf. or ur be late pulling out on the morning at Fitzroy House..
Report yorkie1 May 30, 2013 9:23 PM BST
Hayley is over rated guff - always a lay for ..................... cos she's shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite.
Report manorf. May 30, 2013 9:26 PM BST
Delta, I am an unapologetic fully paid up member of the Hayley Turner Fan Club.

One reason, I believe she is a truly top-class jockey.

Many professional trainers agree with me.

Now she's split with Bell - she'll get many more chances to prove it.
Report Brother Mouzone May 30, 2013 9:28 PM BST
You're prob in there too now penz, she does read the forum.

Report naydam May 30, 2013 9:35 PM BST
Many varied opinions here. Mine is pretty worthless but I think she rides well. I have no problem at all with betting on a horse that she is on. In fact, I prefer Hayley to most other jockeys. Not all, but most.
Report manorf. June 19, 2013 3:31 PM BST
So, now it is officially confirmed.

Bell can't keep blaming the jockeys for how many 2nds he's had this year.

It's about time he got them fit enough for the day!!!
Report kennelhand June 19, 2013 3:33 PM BST
better and stronger than most males
