Surely they can see her ease down thinking she had it won.then riding again once she saw Sanders finishing

Just watched it - she thought she had it won and didn't try hard enough in the final 50 yards. She was shocked to be chinned on the line and should be banned but won't be.

Im loathe to say she should/would have won cause I backed it and it's hard to quantify but a touch more effort wouldn't have gone amiss here

The Judge I backed the winner and should not have collected

She's had a bad week really - very unfairly jocked off The Lark in the Oaks by Frank - and is on the point of splitting with Michael Bell over it. No bad thing for her - she will get a much better job than the one with Bell anyway.

She is average at best. The fact that she is a woman has helped her profile. A male rider with her ability would be a struggling
every day jockey
By:

When: 30 May 13 20:04
she's a top, top class jockey and can do better than being with Bell.

I think she's deteriorated markedly over the last two years & am very wary of backing her these days

too much media attention, takes a good one to get to the top takes a great one to put in the work to maintain superior performance, the two are very different which is why those at the top of their profession for prolonged periods warrant extra respect, I cant rememeber it exactly but there's a great Marvin Hagler quote something about it being difficult to get out of silk sheets at 4 in the morning to go for a run

She rides for MANY different trainers all of whom must rate her. = injury-free Hayley will ride 100 winners a year and you only do that if you are a top class jockey. IMHO she is a much better rider and judge of pace than Spencer.

layed that winning favourite last night,
she just got chinned on the line it seemed to me.
If she eased up there would be alot more posts on
this thread.Deserves to be given a horse with a
good chance in a classic, did alright on Dream Ahead.
By:

When: 30 May 13 20:58
That Dream Ahead ride was true class - and the pressure was on her that day. Khalifa Dasmal is a true gentleman and a very fair man. His good judgement in giving her the ride was rewarded. Let's see how Spencer rewards Bell's poor judgement on giving him the ride on The Lark which is a horse he doesn't get on with at home.

Well my guess is Michael Bell will be the loser - without a regular rider for his horses without Hayley.

And, it's 1.01 that she rides double the number of winners between now and the end of the season that he will train!

Delta, I am an unapologetic fully paid up member of the Hayley Turner Fan Club.

One reason, I believe she is a truly top-class jockey.

Many professional trainers agree with me.

Now she's split with Bell - she'll get many more chances to prove it.

Many varied opinions here. Mine is pretty worthless but I think she rides well. I have no problem at all with betting on a horse that she is on. In fact, I prefer Hayley to most other jockeys. Not all, but most.
By:
manorf.
When: 19 Jun 13 15:31
So, now it is officially confirmed.

Bell can't keep blaming the jockeys for how many 2nds he's had this year.

It's about time he got them fit enough for the day!!!
