can anyone tell me if you ave an ew xxx double and 1st 1 wins 2nd is a non runner does it go as an ew on the winner stake was 4 ew xxx double , winner was 5/1

What do the xxxs represent? If just an ew double it goes on the winner.
As already replied ... the 'Double' simply becomes a SINGLE on the OTHER horse.

Maybe you mean - say, £1 on A - 'if cash' > £1 B ... and Reversed.

A well known firm have said i get 24.00 for the win and 16.00 back is this correct ????

a cross double would be 6 bets.

i take it its 1/5 place terms so £4
no stake back in cross double single bets
