Born To Surprise seems to improve each time at 7f. Has ran well fresh before. He cruised into winning at doncaster last sep after being held up. Spencer is in France so Darren Egan rides, taking off 3.
Could have a lot more to give at at the distance. The big field may be a challenge depending how it splits. 20/1 is huge actually. |

Lightning Cloud will be in it....theres something abt the track that some like & some dont & this ones on fire............G.L.

dream tune - 10lb swing with the race fit haaf a sixpence from last time. Highly tried as a 2yo, no probs with track, ground or draw. 14/1

Has the look of a very average race compared to its heyday, obviously draw could rule out most of the field so would be inclined to split stakes on one from each third, Smarty Socks, Excellent Guest & Bertiewhittle will do for me

Yes, it's about time we had 40 runner fields for these Saturday handicaps - can't have punters having an easy ride.
Seriously, there must be better opportunities to actually win elsewhere - albeit at shorter prices. |

Dream Tune for me. A lot of the fancied horses have high draws, but, I always look to horses drawn low on the straight track in big fields at Ascot.

Swerved it, I dont need to try and sovle this, easier pickens elsewhere. I'll
watch it for future pointers, almost next to impossible, a bookies race. No for me ![]() |

Wide open in my view,I like Glen moss profile, but current form not so much, he might be a bit of a pig?

"He is drawn 29 of 29 which is either very good or very bad. He has been working well and the ground will suit him," trainer Michael Bell on Victoria Cup runner Born To Surprise.

They seek him here.
They seek him there. Those Frenchies seek him everywhere. Is he in heaven? Or is he in hell? That damned elusive Pimpernel! |

BUBBLY BELLINI is surely priced completely wrong. At 66/1 you'd expect some out of form class 4 nag, but with this horse you are getting a coming into form double Premier Handicap winner from last year.
Hell of a task to win 2 such high class handicaps in the same year. Started out as claiming class but Aldo McGuinness seems to have found the oracle. |
