Almost certainly wants softer ground and a more galloping track. Front running might help but has been held up well off the pace on both starts.
Hard to argue with the form but rather watch it bolt up than take the 11/10.

I thought the same m8, Taunton, tight track, fast ground...might be Kempton all over again.
Now punted to odds on. Probably a case of whether it can run well below par and still win. Does have the advantage that the Sherwood horse has a staying pedigree and bridle merchant Brennan is on the second favourite.
Having said that, the Henderson horse that won the Kempton race looks top class, and the 2nd won a race since, so it could be different class tonight. Might see it making the running.
Won a shade comfortably! Thankfully the favourite had Hutchinson on board rather than Brennan - falling off in bumper races whatever next?
