Watching live I thought Paddy would switch to the stands side once the leader jumped across him at the last.
Really I suppeose the winner should go, but there's a part of me that thinks Paddy got what he deserved.

if the winner keeps it then our rules are bollocks...unfortunately I think the stewards will bottle it yet again...the 2nd horse was trading 1.14 when it was virtually knocked over the rail...will cost me if the winner keeps it.

The interference was that severe the distance is irrelevant. it was very likely the second would have won and on this occasion imo he will get the race which even given the current rules would be correct.

"Generally speaking, the longer the Panel discusses whether the placings should be altered, the less likely it is that they should be. If the Panel is unable to conclude one way or the other, the result should stand"
What a rule that is!!!

The IR market tells the story but the stewards would not be looking at that. Very hard to say the second would not have won and I still say that is the wrong decision.

the rules are becoming ludicrous. The stewards banned the jockey on the winner for going left when he was not far enough in front - in other words he was less than a length in front when he veered left. He nearly puts the 2nd over the rails 50 yards out and wins 3 lengths. The inning distance should have absolutely no bearing on the result of the inquiry in this case imo as the 2nd had no chance to get running again. Benefit of the doubt should have been with the 2nd imo.
