The BHA seems to be thinking of steroids as stimulants that make horses run faster but have no effect once they have left the system. This is wrong.

What they actually do is aid muscle building and recovery so you end up with a horse that can run faster even after the steroids have exited.

All about timing , the gains are there quite a bit after the course ends

I have just completed a course of thirty steroids prescribed by my Doctor and as

far as I can see the only effect they have had on me is that my Hampton seems to

grown both by lenghth and also by circumferance, I was wondering if my Doctor prescribes

me another 150 steroids of the same strength would I be able act as a stand-in for Shergar.
