is the seaton burn shop reopening elsewhere or is there not enough players to keep it viable
By:
the latter
By:
wheres the nearest trading shop to newcastle left open now then
By:
with faster ruk and blv there wont be many shops left soon ,just small home players versus the sharks on track
By:
there was a shop at thornaby mr crisp but dunno if its still open
By:
thornaby and donny are closed shops now so nearest is long way away,i have been offered the room we use at newcastle on race days to use as a trading shop as the sis n turf are already there its a viable proposition and got 8-9 interested in coming there with me but this game has tightened right up now and is no longer lucrative.
By:
blimey so thornaby and donny are closed as well cant be many left ,wouldnt it make more sense to trade from home if ruk is same as turf and blv is same as sis ?
By:
Closed shops as in regulars only and not open to public,do it from home and ita lonely and really need 2 set ups to have blv on separate monitor etc and if ruk slow down your disadvantaged again and with the in running liquidity dire the situation is uneasy.

has the shooting scared away some of the clientele from seaton?
By:
aint the seaton shop clients just going to tracks now instead?
By:
Has the IR liquidity really changed that much ? Or is it there is a higher percentage of good judges at the tracks ?
By:
shooting had no effect on custom,SB shop always had track players but also had 8-10 daily regulars but as been said why pay £200 a week to sit in trading shop when you can get ruk for £20 a mth and blv free with a £5 trade...liquidity is dire at short and big prices atm worst ive ever seen.

Its gone down and will go down more
Why the normal punter has no chance.. 4 years ago it was thier £10..£20 £50 £100 quids ,back or lay that made the pot . today its dog eat dog and whats left is the smart men .. inside info , good form men , market traders . you can still win backing/ or laying but you have to be one step ahead of the game .. check my joining date .... seen them all come and go .. but thats life my moto ...its all bent lump on . |
By:
the bad players eventually run out of money then your left with fast pic boys fighting for the scraps forcing prices much shorter than they should be because theres fresh air in the boxes ,all good things come to an end
By:
couldnt agree more..strange tho that the liquidity seems to have disappeared in a matter of weeks...
By:
...." fighting for the scraps forcing prices much shorter than they should be"
----------------------- REALLY ? I am finding that a lot of my PRE-Race Backs - with a 'Stake Saving' 'Keep' Lay - are NOT being matched at around EVENS - let alone - "shorter than they should be" ..... When they would have ALL been easily MATCHED months ago. |

check the liquidity from evens - 1.01 and the beaten fancied horses from 10-1000...peanuts
