#1 FiveForThree - Gallant oldtimer who put up a belting performance to place in the Coral Cup. Run should've brough him on a lot but surely asking a lot in this high class field.

#2 Holywell - Pertemps Final winner at the Festival before smacked about senseless by Solwhit in the Liverpool Hurdle. Safe to say where ever Solwhit finishes you'll fine Holywell not far behind.

#3 ReveDeSivola - Capitalised on the abscence of Big Bucks by dominating the mid season staying hurdle division but tactical inept ride blew his chances at the Festival with his stamina reserves not utilised to its fullest potential. Likely to be on the offensive early in the race..could be the first to make a bid for glory and on this track he'd be silly not to.

#4 Solwhit - Fine battles vs Hurricane Fly back in the day before succumbing to injury....back with bang to land Grade 1s at the Cheltenham and Aintree Festivals...going for the Hat Trick a la Sprinter Sacre. Carberry always makes it look easy but you still have to admite the ease at which he put away his rivals in both races. One does have to think he perhaps did not beat the best opposition in the world ie RDS pace comprimised in the World Hurdle, Celestial Halo??? Seriously Cmon, Holywell a souped up handicapper. Today will solid test.

#5 Whatuthink - This race has gone to some of the unlikeliest of outsiders down the years...Carly's Quest anyone? If that's your cup of team and like the John Francombe oooooh this horse shouldn't be 40/1 then Whatuthink is for you.

#6 Zaidpour - Overrated, Overhyped, Overmatched...he has a fizzy buzzy name you'd expect from horse with a bit of class but for some reason never really leaves it all on the line for me. I can see he's got an engine but his results don't match the ratings he's got or the hype.

#7 Quevega - 5 times Festival Winner and 3 time winner of this race. I know she had a lot in hand last time but only a champion like her with oodles of class and courage could've extracated themselves from the perilous position she found herself in after nearly comming down at the top of the hill. Storming, unstoppable late rally to run down the French raider shows she attains all her abilities....Only doubt would be the form of the Mullins horsies at Punchestown so far but I feel that's somewhat sufficiently counterbalanced by the negatives for the others - Solwhit having another race after two storming wins, different jockey on board, Reve possibly being pace comprimised again, Zaidpour being a bit of a lazy sod at the business end.

Verdict - Unorginal but I finally get to back the classy Queverga at decent odds....its like waking up on a Saturday morning and finding Black Caviar at 1/5 on here....except this is a 3 mile Hurdle Race and not a 5 furlong flat race around Waka Waka or Dingo Bay. Win or lose its a decent price.

PS you guys should see the FKIN PREVIEW I'm doing for the Kentucky Derby.....will be the nuts and I'm desperate to pick the winner of that race after a barren spell. Think the last one I had was Street Sense....Not having it! Will be going in triple handed and one of them is a 40/1 shot!

Famous last words, but 4/11 one of the big two wins seems a great bet. Time will tell.
