Backed Sir Des Champs but thought Captain Chris was a genuine danger until Johnson did his usual and let the horse run down the third last, then proceeded to do same for the last two. No surprise to see the difference between him and Geraghty in the first. Bet he can't wait to get back to the UK to ride all those winners against Choc Thornton, Paddy Brennan, STD and the like.

for me on captain chris at ascot the tactics should have been to use stamina and get on the inside and let cue card jump out left instead he cushions cue card and rides for  test of speed totally wrong tatics and its hard to think that he actually knows what hes doing
