When he won the Snaith Stakes at PONTEFRACT on May 8th, at 13/8 2nd fav (op 5/4, tched 2s) He had finished 3rd prior to that, when Fav at Bath. Made his DEBUT in the #aforementioned BECKHAM{TON MAIDEN Stakes, at NEWBURY om Friday April 14th (equivalent to today) 2:00 colts & geldings - 5f - SOFT. 1. the one most remember is ami stewart's disco rendition not the original.....tap on wood only steve cauthen's 2nd ride in a classic. finished 5th on topsy in the 1,000....only ridden marquee universal to victory in march at salisbury on his first ever uk ride .

Windsor, there was a horse around that time called gaasid " or something similar . it got killed on the race track .around 1986 .

I had the the privileged of looking after his dam when she was at the INS , Having backed her a few times during her racing carrear , she was the most beautiful mare i ever saw , and i saw plenty , A beautiful chestnut mare she was the most graceful walker . pleasant memories indeed ...
