They noted the trainer’s explanation that KAMBIS had benefited from today’s going, which was significantly quicker than when the gelding last ran here, and had also benefited from the recent warmer weather. They ordered KAMBIS to be routine tested.

The Stewards considered the apparent improvement in form of the winner, MARIE DEJA LA (FR), ridden by Tom Cannon and trained by Chris Gordon, compared with its previous run at Plumpton on 31 March 2013 where the mare was pulled up. They noted the trainer’s explanation that MARIE DEJA LA (FR) tends to come to herself at this time of the year. They ordered MARIE DEJA LA (FR) to be routine tested.
