For me the answer is Yes. What is there in this race to beat it? Puffin Billy from what i hear is thought to be a decent chaser in the making and whatever the horse did over hurdles was always going to be a bonus. But he has shown some pretty decent form over hurdles anyway. When he got beat at Exeter, he finished lame and last time at the festival, he was still in with a chance when he made a complete hash of the second last. But the opposition here is a lot weaker i reckon. Whisper has shown it's best form on heavy ground and will probably be seen to better efeect over fences next year. Bob Ford looks a nice horse but for me improved last time for the step up to 3 miles so im surprised to see him running here and i think the same could apply to Annacotty, as for Sankyouplease, No Thanks. That leaves Valdez and i reckon that one had it's limitations exposed last time. I reckon if Puffin Billy puts in a clear round he wins.

Might not have beat much, but then it doesn't really have much to beat tomorrow. Giving weight all round is maybe a question mark, but still leaves something else having to show improvement to beat it.

wished i got some of the odds against earier on.

Backed it 2 races ago when 2nd to Melodic, was wrong that day and was easily beat.Left it alone at festival but thought it ran a good race. Gonna have interest today 5/6 with pp, it looks like will go off shorter. Hoping they want to finish season with a win.

Well best of luck Rey, still not sure about your 2/1 though. Personally i would snap your hand off at those odds. I hate backing at odds on myself but i would still have to say as odds on chances go, this is one of the better ones.

which makes 8/11 skinny enough for a back but slightly too high for a lay with only one serious rival

well in my opinion i think puffin billy will go off at around 8/15-1/2. if he is anywhere near the form of his win at ascot, he will hack up here. my only concern would be as someone else suggested, the ground. i do think he needs some give in the ground to be seen at his best, but reports so far say that it is on the soft side of good.

Whisper has only ever raced on heavy going over hurdles but hosed up on good in his only bumper by 15 lengths

he could improve bundles for the going change and I don't see how you can bet pre race really

no way is Puffin Billy an 8/15 shot though, I will lay that price just on principle if the market goes that way

A cracking little race and by no means a two horse one..

i don't think puffin will stay....very open race in my book... think Annacotty will go well

Whisper travelled very well for a long way behind At Fishers Cross. Has only raced on good once and won easily. Better ground may help him see the trip out better than he did that day. Puffin Billy hasn't encountered good ground over hurdles either btw. Too many question marks.

Bob Ford will ensure the pace is brutal. Will Billy get up the hill? I think BF could be tough to pass here.

Puffin 10/11 on here so dont take any 4/6 the bookies were offering. Sherwood wants the win but think I will stick with the bit 5/6 I have. 2nd fav seems strong. Still remembering that run before last.

i agree duncan, horses dont back off and jump right at the obstacles if all is well, terrible placing nonetheless

finished very lame.

The horse finished exactly the same as it had done in its previous two races(as I pointed out earlier).

Horse overrated, Jockey a very poor race rider and a trainer that has trouble keeping horses.

Sums it up really.
