Just found this:
'Glad you flagged that up, an enjoyable half hour, don’t seem to listen to the raidio these days. The Pete in question was a late night (controversial / mad) radio DJ, Peter “The Major” Harris on Cardiff’s first commercial radio station in the 80′s, he used to play lots of Bruce & Southside, he was also a local bookmaker & had a shop “Peter Harris Racing” two streets from where I live just outside cardiff, he currently gives daily racing tips on BBC Radio Wales…. Nice story a couple of Welsh lads hanging out with Bruce, I had to wait another six years before I saw him but I never got that close' http://blogs.wickedlocal.com/springsteen/2009/03/04/springsteen-flashback-bbc-goes-back-in-time-to-75/#axzz2QHWD6kN0 |
