.. last nights Alan Carr charade was pitiful ( turned off). It seems that there is no length that these so called ''celebrities'' won't do to get on the box ! J R & J C are never off the t.v.

Probably have the missus of the follicley challenged one from Trafford Park doing the Fashion slots.
At least yesterday if they'd of shown Liver Birds in their heels & swigging pints of lager....
I love horseracing,I work in the industry,I go to watch it at many different courses,I love to watch on the tv.
In all my years of this I have not been more disappointed with the dreadful coverage of todays Grand National,it had no buzz,and those terrible camera angles,the only good thing to come out of the coverage was the professionism of Claire Balding.

ive done a similar thread, but agree terrible, and god knows what a shambles royal ascot will be
ii thought it was awful,really flat,too much fitzgerald and persad,no build up to the next race,jim mcgrath looked like he wished he was somewhere else
Concur. Think that the new format is just not working... and the camera angles were very poor. The new production team have a lot of catching up to do .
Sorry to say it was a borefest made worse by all the ads

zero build up to the next race, only knew the next race was upon us 4 mins before.
Lacks umph... just think the format is dated !
Brian Gleeson (?) in the ring seemed to know his stuff... but I can't see hows its improved since the previous production company departed ! In fact, imvho it's worse !

Missing the start of the race was quality 
The "languid" Simon Holt rabbiting on about something while the tape went up hehind his shoulder and they were off ! You couldn't make it up

The new production company seem very poor as regards relaying events to the viewer... massive room for improvement !
Just watched most of the c4 coverage. I don't think the format works very well no matter where they are, the replay was poor mixing fences up and missing the page. That said I think they went into today a little wary of what could go wrong. I have seen the Beeb do worse.
