I do think fly is the best hurdler overall since Istabraq, but not at Cheltenham is what I have been saying, and I will stick to that.

Budd Solwhit has won 8 grade 1s 5 of which were at 2 miles. In 2009 he beat the Champion Hurdler of six weeks over 2 miles at Punchestown.

Made a good job of winning a few grade 1's over 2 miles considering he's a stayer, looks a different horse over this trip doesn't he, over 2 he was always described as the head down grinder/terrier type...now he's coming there swinging off the bridle...sets a very hight standard for next year.

I know, I am well aware of Solwhit and fly's form, but its all in Ireland, where I think fly is a lot better.

Can't crib today's performance by Solwhit.
