Awful coverage. Awful presenters. 2 mins until the next race DIRECTOR!
By:
RUK great coverage today Hislop/Neesom/Mellish
By:
More adverts. Disgraceful.
By:
Hopeless. Their viewing figures for Morning Line and Afternoon show will make interesting reading in 6 months time. How they transferred that mob over from BBC I'll never know. They were all rubbish when they were at the BBC!
By:
Treason, I will be sending a letter to Lizzie, this is a fooking disgrace, they make me sick to the stomach
By:
So,C4 team holding their form??

By:
Nice of Tania to mention the winner had been backed in from 66/1 before the race.
More adverts! Give the race back to the class channel - this coverage is pants. |
By:
i thought they might have a few extra adverts but this is fooking ridiculous
By:
horses in parade ring, going down to the start, loads of latest betting shows, how great things were then,
By:
Wish the racing would stop interrupting the adverts
By:
Get your emails written, lads - make your voices heard. It's the only way they'll learn this isn't on at all. Can't believe we never saw ANY of the build up. Absolutely incredible.

... and as the National runners go back out into the country, we'll take you for a very short break....

By:
"... and as the National runners go back out into the country, we'll take you for a very short break...."
I wouldn't be surprised. |
By:
how quick will the adverts be after grand national ?
By:
Joke coverage, same on the BBC though, they wanted to show anything but horse racing, CH4 exactly the same, the BEEB'S last year @ Royal Ascot was pathetic.
They're all chasing people who don't like racing, instead of people who do like horse racing. That's the madness of it all. |
By:
good entertainment but the amount of adds is not good at all. It used to be great years ago on bbc as pointed out above.
By:
The coverage is not designed to entertain - the commercial objective is to serve up those watching to the bookmaking industry, whose advertising revenue is the raison d'etre for the coverage.
The ONLY agenda is to deliver the propaganda necessary to keep punters betting and losing... |
By:
Agree with elisjohns 1st post. Bad enough with bloody tv adds every 10mins (at most) but to have them 5mins before the off of any race is a joke & terrible planning imo.
Get your acts together C4. ![]() |

Thursday and Friday wasn't too bad, but it's not very good today.

The majority of the audience won't care about the supporting card
